She was awarded an award for a local Sports Emmy during her tenure at WTVJ-TV located in Miami. She worked for WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993, she was selected for anchoring ESPN2's initial year of debut. After three years, she left ESPN2 to join Fox Sports. In 1999, she was recruited by ESPN for the show 'Monday Night Countdown.
